Meet Yvette
Yvette Wynn is a strategic advisor with more than 35 years of experience at the intersection of finance, leadership, and governance. She works with executives, boards, and mission-driven institutions to strengthen financial strategy, board effectiveness, and organizational leadership.
Yvette recently concluded a distinguished career at Morgan Stanley Private Bank, where she served as an Executive Director in both regional and local market sales roles. In these positions, she coached bankers and drove engagement across the Bank’s full product suite, including securities-based lending, residential lending, and cash management solutions.
Known as a strong culture carrier, Yvette also played an active leadership role within the firm’s employee networks. She co-founded the Black & Latino employee group within the Private Bank, served on several employee network steering committees, and presented at national meetings focused on leadership, inclusion, and professional development.
Earlier in her career, Yvette held senior roles at BNY Mellon Wealth Management as a Sales Director for the Westchester market driving wealth advisory relationships. She began her career building a client relationships as a financial planner with American Express / IDS Financial Services.
In addition to her corporate leadership, Yvette has extensive experience in board governance and nonprofit leadership, including officer roles with organizations focused on the welfare of children and affordable housing. She has served as Secretary and chaired the credit committee of Community Capital New York, a non-profit lender. At Children’s Village, she chairs the Housing Committee which advises the leadership team on its portfolio of existing and in- development projects in New York, Westchester and the Lower Hudson Valley. Yvette is a past president of the Estate Planning Council of Westchester County, which provides training and resources for estate planning professionals.
Yvette is a Certified Financial Planner® (CFP®) and holds FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses. She earned graduate degrees from New York University and Fordham University and a B.B.A. in Finance from Pace University.
